Who's ever heard of a top mixed martial artist from Africa? Two months ago Rameau Sokoudjou, from Cameroon Africa, became the first real cadnidate with a stunning upset victory over Little Nog; one of the top Brazillian fighters and fighters fighting at 205:

His victory was achieved by KO from a quick flurry of punches. Yet Sokoudjou is not a boxer, he was actually known for his Judo before, winning a Gold and a Bronze medal at the US Open Judo championships. He has been training with Team Quest under Dan Henderson (who on that same night also defeated Wanderlei Silva where he won the Pride Middleweight -205 pound- championship). People were convinced that Sokoudjou's win was a fluke, but a gigantic upset, one of the biggest in the history of the sport. Though from what has been said from his Team Quest teammates, Sokoudjou is an incredibly quick learner. This is what occured in his second fight, a month later (at the latest Pride event) vs Ricardo Arona, another top and well known fighter out of Brazil:
