Any of you guys still using this? I know Kali posted it a while back since that's how I found out about it. I just got a new comp this weekend (7 years between computers; holy FUCK is this one fast in comparison) and finally got the horsepower to try it.

For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a media sharing program that sets up a file server on your internal network and does on the fly conversion (www.tversity.com). It supports the 360 so you can just d'load stuff and just click a few buttons (after some setup) and bam, you can watch the stuff on your TV through the 360 with no conversion or anything. Very handy :-)

So off to my question. I'm finding the program is choking on some stuff, particularly .mov files and some of my older mpgs or even avis. Seems to work well on a lot of the newer stuff, particularly the xvids. Anyone else having this issue?

I use it actually... to watch anime on my 360... so AVI DIVX give me no problem... I just hate it kills my PC while streaming.

That and I have to set up a new connection for the two everytime I go to use it because somehow they forget how to connect again...

Yeah, my anime works fine for the mos part. Certain ones won't and mov files don't seem to work at all. I have the most recent beta one as well just to make sure it has the most updated format support.

I wish it had automatic refresh on the folders, that would rule.

I do have a DVD player that plays Xvid and Divx right off a USB stick, so I can always watch them. It would just be easier this way.

I haven't had issues, but then again, I stream most stuff at a lower rate than the default settings.

As for formats that won't stream - there are some (most obscure stuff like 3gp, some quicktime formats, real player media, etc). If it aint working, I'd always suggest pulling out some other converter (like WinAVI, etc) that supports the format you want to convert and try a different output.

Edit: And if the 360 is losing connection to your PC, it's likely a firewall (port connections) issue. Norton proved to be the most problematic for me...I still don't know what exclusion to set, so I just permanently set my worm protection to OFF (I'm sure I could figure it out if I was less lazy/more concerned).
