Beer and Clam is VERY popular here. I fucking hate the stuff, but my girlfriend loves it.

Don't think I've ever seen them before in pre-mixed containers, however.

A very good friend of mine is engaged to a guy from upstate-NY where apparently this sort of thing is popular. She drank it in front of me as if it was normal. I couldn't get over it.

Further, I'm not sure why it was being sold in Richmond, VA, where that sort of this is NOT common.

Probably during a drunken stupor, where mixing stuff you like together (yes, there are people who like ceasars and beer both) just to see what it tastes like
