Two summers ago, I'd listen to "In the End" and go run myself into the fucking ground. Last semester, I'd go to the gym, think bad thoughts, and just crank out sets. It's masochistic, really. I'd basically go to the gym to cause pain. I'd bench until my pecs hurt, I'd curl until my arms were too tight to scratch my back, and I'd do sit-ups until my abs were on fire.

It's part releasing aggression and anger, it's part being able to control something. I had a really rough time two summers ago. Running and lifting was the only thing that kept me sane. I did it like it was my fucking job. Last semester... fuck. I was getting into my bench press sets that a guy asked me if I was okay.

And music is big. Heavy, aggressive music that gets me riled up.

I used to write stuff on my webpage, but after a point, the bad stuff going on wasn't really publishable, so I stopped doing that.</div>
