This might be a little long, but it's worth the read:
(Support email to enom.cc follows.)
I'm trying to update the glue records for my nameservers at Domain > Domain Tools > Custom DNS registration > Update a Name Server. However, every time I try to update the IP address, it gives me the error "Root domain cannot be found." The nameserver glue records already exist, but I want to update the IP address. Here's the records and the new IP address:
ns1.tows.cc
ns1.seraphina.cc
IP = 67.223.254.104
My last four of my SS# is #### and my username is II#######. Please update the above nameservers.
There is no Launch links anywhere. I am logged in.
1. There is nowhere that I can see on the site where you can submit a ticket. A customer care rep did it for me and copied the contents of my email, hence the reason for the security details. When I asked where it was, I was told to go to a non-existent link at Help > Launch the Support Center > Submit a Ticket, and I replied back:
"All three help links all point to here: http://enom.cc/help-center/
There is no Launch links anywhere. I am logged in."
Thus, there's clearly something wrong with the site, since there's no way to get here. I'm only replying to this ticket because there's a link in the email I received.
2. If you bothered to read my email, you would see that I followed your instructions to update the IP address of the name server, but got the error "Root domain cannot be found".
BTW, you should update your instructions for getting there, as there is no "Advanced Tools" link under the Domains tab.
Maybe you guys are somehow giving me support for another web site, as both of you seem to be lost as to where stuff is on this web site. I'm asking for support for enom.cc. I'm not sure what web site you guys are going to with these links.

Where exactly do I submit a support ticket? I don't see the option in the Help center, except to contact you via email.enom Support wrote:Brendan,
You will want to contact technical support for assistance with updating your name servers. Alternatively, you can submit a support ticket from the “Help” option of your account. You can also contact support directly at 425-274-4500 option 3.

(So, they copied the first email above into a support ticket. I get a reply via email, with a link to my ticket.)enom Support wrote:I have notified tech support for you. they will email you shortly for a resolution.
Thanks. Though this fixed my problem, I do want to point out two things that you might want to address on your site:enom Technical wrote:Hello Brendan,
I have successfully updated the two name servers to the IP address: 67.223.254.104.
To do this in the future, from within your account hover over the 'Domains' tab, and on this list hover over 'Advanced Tools' and then click on 'Register A Nameserver'. From within this page you can Update a Nameserver IP.
In the future when you submit tickets, you do not need to provide us with the answer to the secret question on your account. Since you are submitting a ticket from within your account, we already know who you are. Thank you anyhow!
If you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter, please feel free to reply back to this ticket.
Thank you,
Dustin

Robert: But I DON'T.
Rosalina: You sure that's right?
Robert: I was going to HAVE told you they'd come?
Rosalina: No.
Robert: The subjunctive?

Robert: I don't think the syntax has been invented yet.
Rosalina: It would have had to have had been.
Robert: Had to have...had...been? That can't be right.
