Apples and oranges. The guy like dog fights because he hated dogs. Maybe if he's forced to care for one, he wouldn't hate dogs any more.

But, I guess it's really just a long shot. I hate the fact that yeah, he did his time, but that didn't fix the issue of his hatred of dogs. Sure, he's probably not going to go to or work with dog fights any more, but that's because he got caught.
