I consider myself pretty un-knowledgeable about cars. All I know is it's something that gets me from one place to another place, and I drive at the speed limit whenever reasonable.

This week's HXH has Killua clocking at 240kph with his super speed, so one of the other guys got a motorcycle (or rather, transformed into one) and caught up to him from behind.

Apparently there's a large thread where people argue THERE IS NO WAY A MOTORCYCLE CAN KEEP UP WITH KILLUA GOING AT 240KPH UNLESS IT WAS A SUPER SAIYAN MOTORCYCLE.

Now I said I'm not a big car person, but I check my car's speedometer and it goes up to 160mph, which is more than 240kmh since it also shows metric units. I assume that means it's capable of going at that speed ideal situation, and it sure isn't a Ferrari or whatever. A quick search reveals that motorcycles aren't allowed to go faster than 300kph due to safety reasons, but even that is more than enough to beat a 240kph.

I suppose it could be the metric unit issue, since 240kph is pretty different from 240mph and maybe US based audience think of everything in mph. That said, I don't think the notion a motorcycle can catch up with 240mph is that unfathomable even if you got the unit of measure completely wrong. Certainly, in a world where people can throw fireballs it doesn't seem that unreasonable to assume their technology might be just a bit more advanced than what we got in the real world.

Sport bikes are electronically limited to 300kph or 186mph, which is still faster than that supposedly super crazy manga car was going. If you find a way to remove the bike limiter.... well then you're going light speed, and probably dying.

Actually the point was that a superspeed (240 kph) human is still easily caught up by a top end motorcycle. The guy ended up going into a forest to lose the motorcycle but it's not supposed to be unusual that a motorcycle caught up to him on open road. I realize motorcycles usually don't go that fast because even at 300 kph you'll probably get yourself killed pretty easily let alone any faster but it should be pretty obvious from any car's speedometer that 240kph is not a speed that cars cannot reach.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the limiter levels are much more strict in Japan. Hence 240km/h being "superspeed"
