Before LotR, most people wouldn't be able to tell you where New Zealand is. My Mother went to New Zealand last month to see some of our family. The safety instructional video on the plane is LOTR themed. Hard to take anything else about them seriously if they're that willing to pander.

Yes, commemorative coins. Canada whores itself out all the time for stuff like that. I somehow doubt anyone willing to pay almost $3,700 for a $10 coin will actually use it in circulation :-)
