Security auto-updates fucked up MySQL, installing a new mysql-client, but not the server. This wouldn't be a problem if Oracle would follow the rest of the OSS universe and go public with their security flaws, so that they can be patched. Instead, they say "oh, well, we fixed that on version X", forcing Debian to put out an UPGRADE on the security repo, instead of the much safer patches on the current version.CRON-APT RUN [/etc/cron-apt/config]: Sun May 12 16:00:02 EDT 2013

On top of that, my VPS provider is stuck in the stone ages in terms of kernel upgrades, so I'm stuck on a half-Lenny, half-Squeeze build. I think I'm going to look for a better deal, since I would need to transplant my data even if I were to upgrade to a new kernel.

Rosalina: That's not the subjunctive.

Robert: Had to have...had...been? That can't be right.
