The only problem here is that the Russians have always had a very poor economy. During the final years the non-Russian soviet powers began to gain much more power and this quickly led to the dissollution of the USSR.

Reagan had almost nothing to do with any of it. It is like saying that Stalin was a major reason that the Nazis came to power in Germany.

Also, for the history network, not all things on the history network are accurate, for example, there was a documentary about Saddam Hussein which stated that he worshipped Joseph Stalin and that his whole goal was to emulate him; this we know is absolutely false and was nothing more than propaganda.</div>
