I was informed of this on Friday when my network adminstrator for the apartment complex I live in came by to talk to him. Hopefully this will all blow over. They found him by his MAC address on his NIC card. Does anyone know what could happen to him as far as legal action if it were to take place? Links and info would be appreciated.</div>

It's his landlord that owns the service, so his landlord probably got the letter/email from his ISP. They pretty much drop it from there. Your ISP isnt about to go cracking down on their paying customers without a subpoena from a court.</div>

After going through the whole list with tech support, the guy checked, and he was flagged as having downloaded a Dead Like Me episode. They shut off his service and waited for him to contact them.</div>
