Anyone been keeping up on the Plame scandal? I don't know much about it other than that Rove is in hot water. I suppose it would be too much to hope that he ends up in prison.

The latest is that Bush will only Fire someone convicted as a course of the investigation. This goes back on his initial proclamation that he would Fire anyone involved, no mention of needing to be convicted.

I've loved watching Scott McLellan get hammered over the last week by the White House press corps. When did they decide to get bold?

God, I don't think Bush would understand the concept of integrity if you turned it into a club and beat him roundly with it.

To any Republicans I'm offending, well, tough. You can protect him if you want, but just know that I'm not going to believe that he should be given any more chances.

Who's Scott McLellan?

Press Secratary. The White House reporters knocked him around pretty bad last week:

I think it's clear at this point that Rove was involved. McClellan can't defend Rove publically without splitting hairs or flat out lying, so they're just refusing to comment.

"We've secretly replaced the White House press corps with actual reporters. Let's see if they'll notice."

You may want to take back that cigar, Mental, as it was Jon Stewart who originally said that (hence why Sine enclosed that line in quotes).

You know, I could make some lame LOTR-related typo joke about giant trees networking here, but I just don't feel like it. :)
