Hi guys, I haven't been around here in a while but I just thought that I'd let you know about what's going on in my life. I got married to my long-time girlfriend in August, we had a beautiful ceremony on the shores of Lake Dillon in Colorado (across the lake from Brekenridge). It was a small ceremony, neither of us wanted to anything too big, and neither of us wanted to get married in a church.

In September we found out that Elysha, my wife, is pregnant! On Thursday of last week we went in and saw the baby with ultrasound. It was really, a very cool experience. Seeing the baby made the whole pregnancy thing seem real to me for the first time. I wish I had a scanner, I'd post some pictures... :D

Anyway, since this is a gaming forum, I'd better talk about what's new on that front. Well, I sold my XBox and PS2... I haven't played anything on them for quite a while... I bought a DS and a few games (Advance Wars DS, Nintendogs, & Zelda: The Minish Cap). I still have my GameCube, so I guess I'm 100% Nintendo. I'm not sure how this happened, but I turned into Seeker...

I just thought I'd give everyone an update, that is, if anyone still remembers who I am. I promise that I'll let everyone know once the baby is born and maybe I'll even post some pictures. 8)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

It's about time someone became like me =P

No, I'm kidding! =) Happy to hear that you're happy.

Anyways, there's nothing wrong with liking Nintendo, it just happened that I liked their games when it was somewhat of a taboo on this board to do so. Anyways, if you like strategy check out the two Fire Emblem games, I really enjoyed both of them. I don't have Nintendogs myself, but it seems to be a very popular game. One game I highly recommend is Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. There's also the upcoming Secret of Mana game that I think you will probably like. I am not sure about Xenosaga, it is one I am looking forward to a lot, it is a sort of Xenogearsified version of Xenosaga; episodes 1 and 2 combined into a single game and given Xenogears graphics and animations.

Very good news! I'm real happy for you. Me and the woman have been passively trying with the "if it happens it happens" attitude but so far it hasnt happened. Glad someone in here is a real man, though!

Wow, congrats man. Now your life changes for the next 20 years. Soon, you're going to be peddling your 'Cube and DS for baby formula and diapers :-)

Even if you're a dad, you can still drop by on occassion and say "hello"

Thanks a lot everybody: Lox, Eric, Seeker, Barret, Flip, Sine, Torgo, Zeus... everybody. It's good to know that people still remember me here! (especially with how rarely I stop by here now)

Barret: I still do live in St. Louis, right now I'm staying in U. City off of Delmar.

Zeus: I'll never pawn the last system! I'm a gamer! (wow, that doesn't ring nearly as true as it used to...)

We're currently looking for a house in our area, preferrably one in Olivette. Hopefully I'll be posting soon about buying a new house...

Later guys.

Nice place to live that's for sure, not to far from my house on the other side of 44 near Grand. Hope all goes well for you and your new family man, that's so awesome!

Congratulations!

Post like that is enough to make me break my hiatus of not saying anything for a month.

If you are anything like my Cousin(in-law?) you'll still be able to play games and be a great dad. He's pretty hardcore, and his 9month old son babbles in his lap as he plays. Yeah the baby causes the occasional death, but no biggy.

Have fun being a Daddy!
