Oh dear god...sitting in bed with my laptop in front of me, and the Internet, and no wires. I may never move again...

Except your right hand right? Wireless is all good until your router decides it will just LOSE connection to the internet for no apparent reason. I long for the day to a return to my linksys router in STL.

I had a lot of problems with my laptop and my D-Link wireless router until I reinstalled the OS (and went from XP Home to XP Pro) and now I have zero issues. I guess that fixed it. :)

When mine gets flakey, I try changing the wireless channel, that usually clears it up.

The Beauty of Wireless Internet is that hardly anyone protects their connections, so it isn't difficult to just steal Internet signals from all the people living around you =)

Yes, but I am a fan of giving people money when they do something for me, like running an ISP. May not be a philosophy that works for everyone, I know.

You are correct, however. There are, surprisingly, eight networks I can see from my apartment other than mine, with three of them unsecured.

I can never seem to find any unsecured in a range that are close enough to connect to.

Mine is protected because I know people do that. :)

In my happiest place! Where else? :)

Though, it does seem like "in" isn't strictly the right preposition...sort of more of an "out of, and all over the place".

(checks e-mail wirelessly, has four spontaneous massive orgasms, front of shorts explodes)

FYI, it's spelled "cum" :-)
