I've noticed that Don and Tort's avatars are stretched beyond their normal dimensions. Is that a side effect of changing the avatar limits last week?

Yeah, they need to go ahead and use the Upload URL function. That'll fix the problem. Since it doesn't know the WxH of a remote URL, it automatically sizes it to the max size.
