Best Windows BT client?

So I finally gave up last night - I shook hands with the devil and installed XP. (Of course, if shaking hands with the devil means I can have my graphics drivers installed, wireless card working, printer automatically detected and working, and Flash installed and working - with sound! - within a couple hours of install, then I don't care how burned my hand gets.)

I just have a couple more things to get going before I'm really back up and running, and one of those things is getting back my BitTorrent-y goodness. I used to use BitTornado with Linux, but I checked a comparison of clients and it looks to be kinda bland as far as features go (still, it worked). Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, stable, nifty XP BT client?

Yeah, I have Azureus and I like it.

I wish they weren't all Java apps though. Thing takes forever to load.

You need Azureus 2.4 or better due to the encryption (there are a couple of other clients that have the updated encryption, not sure what they are though). It encrypts the transfer so that anyone looking (ie. ISPs or MPAA) can't tell what's being transferred and hides it as normal internet traffic.

I used to use BitLord and BitComet but found that I wouldn't be connecting to nearly as many peers as I should have. I later found out that it's 'cause a lot of them will deny connection to anyone who doesn't have the updated encryption.

So, like you with XP, I was forced to switch. Been getting MUCH better speeds since I did that. Also helps that I found out what the VOIP-dedicated port was by my ISP :-)

I just use BitTorrent. Would another program be faster? Because this works fine.

I'm with Lotus. The default Bittorrent client is fine for me.
