I went to Anchorage this weekend to take the last test I needed for my MCAD (Microsoft Certified Application Developer). I hadn't studied worth jack for the exam, so I was totally expecting to fail it. So imagine my surprise when I looked at my score and it was 735 (700 is passing). What's more, I got a higher score on that one than I did for a previous exam that I really had put a lot more effort into studying for. It's taken me the course of 8 months to study for and pass all 3, but damn I'm glad to have it out of the way at last.

I'm working towards my MCSA right now. I'm about to take my A+ and Net+ and I've got all the Test Out stuff for MCSE so I've been studying using those tools.

Congrats. Any decent certification in this day and age is a big bonus. They've become almost minimum requirements vs separating you from the field, so they're always good.

You shouldn't have any problems with the A+. Both the software and hardware tests for it are pretty easy. Just find a sample-test tool, do it a few times, and you should be good.

I've been doing the Crammaster thing till I've been able to answer every question correctly. I've been doing both the A+ and Net+. I'm semi-inspired so I'm going to register for my tests and take the A+ Thursday and Friday and the Net + Monday.
