Half of the people at my work aren't coming in because of the storm. I get to make it in since I live so fucking close to work. GO GO MONEY!

L.A. just had a freaky deaky windstorm. There were like 30MPH gusts in the city itself, up to 80MPH in the mountains. Two wicker chairs blew clear off my mom's hillside deck.

Yeah, I've got a severe nip-on from the huge drop in the tempurature from yesterday. Thank God it hasn't snowed yet otherwise my commute would double in length. People always drive like idiots during the first snowfall. 1cm the first time is worse than 2 feet in January, it's dumb.

That's rather crazy. I just checked the weather, St. Louis is -2 with snow, and Waterloo is 1 degree. Up here in the distant North we are getting 8 degree weather and sunshine.
