I find this board to be such an interesting phenomenon. I can't explain why I keep coming back. And yet I do.

It's so interesting that this place has managed to maintain some sort of consistent community or whatnot through nearly ten years now. Funny too that I still feel so damned paternally about this place, considering I became a deadbeat dad about a year after it was "born", so to speak.

I know what you mean. Even when I am not posting activly I am always lurking, peeking in once or twice a day to see what is going on. I dont know why but this place just as a sense of community and almost family among all of us that have been here a long time. Add to the fact that the only time we really get new members is when regulars invite them and that feeling just grows. I dont know, mabye I am just odd for feeling that way about this place, but I do.
