Are the FBI OK in doing this or did they go too far?

For those who can't click (or the many others who are too lazy), an oriental kid was put in special classes and not allow to graduate with his teammates 'cause he made an FPS with his school's floor plans that was on his home computer only.

You can blame Columbine for this. I think it's too far, an overreaction, which seems to be the norm south of the border.

If i were to design a 3d shooter, i'm sure i would use something famliar that i have memorized while i code. Would my job fire me if i submitted a counter-strike map that had my office design? (which would be a good map, as there are all sorts of stairwells and hallways, lol)

I think they went too far, too, but with recent events i can understand the overreaction... I wonder if he was stupid enough to actually call the map Clements High School. Not being allowed to graduate is bullshit.

if he doesn't go to jail, this will be good press for him and his mapmaking skills.
