I reopened Creations. I couldn't think up a proper "Description", so someone be nice and write one for me.

I think the original purpose of that section was always just a public outlet for people's creativity, not a place for critique, chit-chat, etc...so I've set it up so that you may only make new posts, not reply (I think).

Got art, fanfics, writing, portfolio, website, whatever...stick it in there and test it out....push Eric's lame "First" post off the main page.

PS - I know at least 3 of you have stuff to post there (Anarky with his website, Rent with that self-published book and someone I can't remember)...probably more. So don't be slackers.

I'd rather critiquing and discussion be allowed as well buddy. I mean I'd rather be able to post and get some constructive crits than just post for folks to read. I love sharing things I'm working on and stuff like that but I don't like not being able to tell me what they like and don't like in a constructive manner.....like having an editor right there....wait I know I am an editor....but it's impossible to edit ones own work.....this the reason editorial driven storytelling blows all ass (Anyone remember comics in the 90's) so yeah.....let it open up to critiques and maybe it'sl lend up more awesome

Now that Nev is gone, Ruminations as well. Let the evil flow freely once again!

Ruminations was initially created because large conversations blow up the threads on the page, and we needed a spot for larger conversations. Since we have this new format, we have no need for Ruminations. We already ruminate on DS, M&M, and GT.

Honestly, Kali, I don't think Creations would be very popular. I'm just fine with leaving that stuff on the other forums. After being a forum admin for a long time, I've come to realize that forum creations and splits are based strictly on popularity. (I detailed a lot of this on an old RPGBoard admin FAQ. It's still based on a threaded MB format, but it's a pretty good read.)

Really, besides GT, the other two forums have been kinda unpopular, but not so much that I'd be willing to can one of them.

(Heh, talk about a blast from the past. I still have that page that details what MODs I'm going to create for phpBB. When the hell would I have time for that?)

I don't personally expect it to be popular - but the creative side of me wants it to exist. I stumbled over 3 creative pieces in DS (Anarky, Rent and ???) purely by chance searching old posts...I could've missed em...who knows what else I've missed?

exacty. god fobid here I am agreeing with kali.....even if someone only uses it a couple of times it's nice to have a place to share something where it will last a little longer than it will in the other forums. activity level doesn't matter to me.

I have NO idea what was going through my head! Though I am glad creations has been re-opened.

Now I can FINALLY start work on Act 1, Scene 2 =P
