Pffft...I'm buying a car soon.

Anyway, good deal on the TV. Having the exact same TV we have (65" DLP) go on Black Friday sale for $1600 almost made me sick. Last BF, we got it for $2400.

I have one very similar to that. Got it in September of '06 for $2500. The ones they were selling then weren't 1080p, though, and there's only one component in.

That's kind of why I felt I had to jump on this one. 3HDMI and a bunch of extra components. Really easy to program my DTV remote to it also.

I'm mr. 3000 now!

$800 for a year of enjoyment out of your TV? Not a bad deal

I'll be in the market for an LCD (probably) soon. I'm thinking of going for a 46" to hang in my basement. It'll be purty. :)

GOOD choice on the Samsung man! I have a 23" LCD HDTV I bought in August '06 for $800 that I'm looking to trade up with. Was perfect when I lived in my bedroom at my parent's but a little small for a main living room TV.

I was looking to go 32" which is about $800-900... wish I could go bigger but my room doesn't permit it. May end up waiting until I move into a new apartment in May to see what kind of room I have available then.

No, seriously. How can you get an apartment that doesn't allow you to get your own TV? Can you move your own furniture? Stock your own fridge? Buy your own bed? Get your own clothes?

He was joking, and so was i. I think he was referring to Lox's mention of his basement. Apartments dont have basements.
