Bah, I don't even want a Blackberry. If I want to read my email (and reply), I'll just use a computer. And it sucks as a phone.

We had this talk a little in another thread. I bought a BB Pearl and love it. Being constantly connected is great, i've been able to read some very important e-mail and react to it. Work and personal. It sucks as a phone?... what evidence do you have to support that? I think my BB is much clearer than my old traditional cell...

Most people have Bluetooths because the blackberry just isn't designed as a phone. Of course, this is a problem with most phone combos with other things. (Yeah, an iPhone isn't very ergo for your head and hands.)

Bluetooth isn't AS GOOD of a phone as a normal flip phone... but it does so much more that I'll forgive it for not being terribly comfortable to talk on without bluetooth.

I wouldn't bother with the thing if it was for personal use only; but it fully integrates with everything in Exchange (Mail, Tasks, Calendar, Contacts) and it's the first phone I've even dared TRY to use the internet with. The full keyboard more than makes up for it.

I guess that is true, ergonomically speaking, flip phones are more comfortable. But, the clarity of the Pearl is just fine, so i dont care. Plus, besides e-mail, i love having my calendar and task list integrated. One my New Years resolutions was to get my schedule in more in order and having my calendar with me all the time has accomplished that. Ok, it was also an excuse to buy a smart phone.
