Holy shit, hahahaha! I never in a million years thought someone would link John Clarke and Bryan Dawe from here. The dudes are political satirists and I've been fans of theirs for years. There are more clips here:

This one, on David Hicks, an Australian that was held in Guantanamo, is particularly great. Unfortunately most of the others may be incomprehensible without a solid understanding of the Australian political environment.

Wow.

***NERD ALERT***

We've been abusing (in a good way) facebook here at work. Myspace sucks.

There.

I posted "Myspace Sucks" on the internet, now we know it's true.

Any website which exists solely for vanity purposes sucks

Which is why Facebook is superior to Myspace. Mully and I have been writing reviews of our local restaurants in a Local Picks app on Facebook. We also play Scrabble, Bowl, and play other games casually "as time permits" lol

Myspace just seems to be a meat market/look how sexy I look from this angle photo album wasteland.

I never really got into the social networking thing, even though I do have a myspace page, until I got on facebook. It is actually fun to interact with your friends on that site.

No, I'd rather maintain my sense of etiquette (does ANYONE use their cellphone/Blackberry without inconveniencing the others around them?) and personal contact/bonds with people. Email and IMings is enough, I don't need cells or vanity sites

Not that I disagree (at least to a degree) with what you're saying... but what the hell is with your holier-than-thou/prick attitude lately? Did you add stilts to your soap box or something?

I hate the way people use these devices/services. I'm all for devices/services serving the needs of people and the constant advancement, but what it's causing is people just being zombie, idiotic, inconsiderate fucks who have no idea what's going on in the world immediately around them. Kinda like the people in Wall-E really, where they live in their own world and can't see what's right there.

Do you know how many people I stopped from walking into traffic in Toronto when I was working downtown, most of them listening to an iPod? How many times a fucking cellphone or Blackberry rings in the office and keeps fucking ringing 'cause the idiot left it on and they're not there? And that person calls back again and again? How many fucking cellphone lights are always on during a movie....with the constant clicking of the texting? How many people now won't even check their email 'cause of Facebook?

I love technology, it's more the effect it's having on people that I can't fucking stand.

Ask Shellie and Sine, I'm not. I'm a very fun-loving, easy-going guy. I just don't sit back and let people, directly or not, fuck me without doing anything and everything I can to stop it

I agree with Zeus on this one. Actually, I don't understand why others don't. Hang up the motherfucking cell phone and DRIVE!

That's why I have a bluetooth headset for my phone. I'm just waiting for them to pass the no talking while driving laws here in MD.
