I'm sure someone will probably tell me I'm 2 years behind the curve... but this game is still hella cool in case not.

Pandemic II

Flash game where you design a disease and try to eradicate humanity. The hardest trick is to get spread to every country/continent before said countries close down their airports/seaports/borders. Madagascar survives most of the time because all they got is a seaport. I think it's kinda gay that even after evolving your virus to become airborne, insect carrying, etc... you still can't infect a country if they've closed their borders. Once you do infect most of the population your task is to kill them as quick as possible

It was kinda fun - but after a lot of playthroughs, it all seemed pretty shallow to me.

Could be a real fun game if they improved some stuff though.

I agree, like I said there needs to be a way to infect a region even after it locks itself down. Random events like tsunami's and hurricanes should carry a chance of infecting a region. Also some more countermeasures from humanity's side would be nice.

A lethal disease that kills quickly by definition is not able to spread very well (because everyone who has it tends to die before they can spread it).

LoL those are oldies but goodies... gotta love the Madagascar meme that came from that game.
