Maybe a stupid question, but what exactly is a black velvet picture? Is it the canvas or the style?

The picture is made of velvet. Look at it closely. There's all kinds of people (especially in Vegas) that both collect and make that sort of thing. It's really weird.

The canvas is black velvet
