Looks like these cars won't be coming here anytime soon.

The background music on that video is GRATING, oh and there's a lot of details missing... what year are these cars? How fast are they even going during these tests? The video is slowed down so much you can't tell if it's a 20mph crash test or a 70mph one.

Dude, these are IIAS crash tests. They are all going 40 MPH, because that is the standard speed they test for all frontal IIAS tests. (Nobody tests for 70MPH. Why the hell would you test for going faster than the speed limit? Hell, at 70MPH, most cars are toast, anyway.)
I looked up the Ford F150 thing, and that was the pre-2004 model (which was the body basis for a lot of other Ford trucks/SUVs). It's a horrible truck in term of safety standards. They completely redid it in the 2004 model, but they shouldn't have sold something like that in the first place. Millions of people still drive those things.
Also, if somebody wants you to get into a VW Bus, don't. (And I happen to like DJ Tiesto.)

Not all Volkswagens are that bad:

This is the same model version as my 2007 Jetta.

How things are around you are not necessarily how things are everywhere. I know that the interstates in West Virginia have a speed limit of 75 mph.

In Canada, 75 mph is basically traffic flow

On the interstates in VA, 75 mph is about the speed of traffic, but the posted limit is 65 mph.

Interstates in Kentucky are posted at 70 mph. What pisses me off on my 35 mile commute in the mornings is the fucking assholes that drive 55 mph in the far left lane. It seriously puts me in a foul mood the rest of the day. I admit I do cruise on the interstate at around 80, but you shouldn't be in the far left lane unless you are moving faster than traffic or passing. If I recall correctly, on the German Autobahn there is a pretty stiff fine for driving slow in the passing or high speed lane. The US needs to adopt a similar policy. Also, isn't the Autobahn one of the safest highways in the world? I remember hearing that the reason it is safer (even though there are portions without posted speed limits) is the thickness of the road (less likely to deteriorate or something) and the strict enforcement of traffic laws that assist with the flow of traffic. I guess I should mention that Kentucky has one of the highest auto fatality rates in the US.

If they ever brought about speed cameras in KY, I would dedicate my life to getting a team of cars driving 55 MPH on the highway, just to force people to understand exactly how slow 55MPH is, and how it's not a fucking speed limit.

In Ontario, the OPP basically said "just keep it under 130 and you won't get a ticket". 130 is right around 80 miles an hour. And they started pulling people over who were doing the limit in the passing lanes. They finally figured out that it's safer to remove the slow idiots who are causing accidents than the ones going traffic flow.
When I was in Scotland, they had these signs all over their smaller highways (the ones that were one or two lanes wide each way only) that said "Frustration causes accidents. Please allow overtaking". Now those people fucking get it. I tried to take a couple of pics to put it up as my desktop background at work so anyone work who came by would see it but they all came out blurry. Was going too fast :-)
