Andrei Arlovski:
-Current #2 Heavyweight in the world
-Possesses the most viscious looking uppercuts in the sport today
-Highly aggressive striking
-Former UFC Champion
-Trains with famed former De La Hoya trainer, Freddy Roach
-Is hungry for Fedor's World Championship Belt
-Born a Soviet from USSR
-Utilizes Sambo background to keep fight where he likes it, standing
-Currently in his athletic prime
-A head taller than Fedor

Fedor:
-Greatest MMA fighter of all time
-#1 heavyweight for more than 5 years
-Undefeated in the last 8 years (and his only loss from 8 years ago comes as a technicality rather than a real defeat)
-Defeated many champions from various sports and organizations including: Olympics, UFC, K-1, Rings, Sambo, and Pride.
-Current World Heavyweight Champion
-Arguably the best pound for pound fighter in MMA
-Devastating striking
-Incredible strength
-Very good at getting submissions
-One of the best grapplers in the sport
-Can win the fight from any position.
-The best Ground and Pound ability in the sport by a considerable degree (he somehow manages to lift himself up and slam down with extremely powerful strikes even from a full guard position).
-Labeled "Baddest Man on the Planet" (a title formerly given to Alexander Karelin, and Mike Tyson)
-Born a Soviet from USSR
-Possesses the Tyson mystique of being undefeatable.

Andrei Arlovski says he will be Fedor's Buster Douglas, that he does not fear Fedor, that he feels that he has the ability to defeat him. Many call him the most devastating striker in MMA today (I would argue that Melvin Manhoef holds that title currently, but Arlovski is certainly up near the top, at least in the top 5, as high as #2).

The number 1 vs. number 2 fighters in the world today. How is it going to be? No one can win forever (Tyson eventually lost and Karelin eventually lost), even Fedor; the question is, will Andrei Arlovski be the one to defeat Fedor?

And Fedor Conquers, 3 minutes, Arlovski lands a big kick, but Fedor just smashes him with a hook and knocks Arlovski out cold.

Another one bites the dust increasing Fedor's record to 7 wins over UFC Champions.

We were all worried. Arlovski looked good - we even thought Fedor looked flustered because Arlovski was fast. But someone thought he was just playing possum.

Then that right came out of nowhere.

Even if just for a very short time; Arlovski's boxing looked impressive, but he didn't ever put Fedor in any real danger. Fedor wasn't looking to score points, he was looking to take his opponent out.

Your friends were right Kupek, in the post fight interview Fedor seemed to indicate exactly that.
