Pansies. If it goes above freezing here anytime from Dec to Mar, people go out in shortsImakeholesinu wrote:Let's see here, it is cold here, we just got 7" of snow and it won't get above freezing until Saturday. Most of the people in my office are not here today.
my heart is cold as stone. you are a disgrace to the maple leaf if you can't handle a little chill in the winter!Zeus wrote:Come up here for Dec and Jan some year. You'll never complain about 35F ever again
Ask Bovine about his -45C weather. You'd be weeping in the corner curled up in the fetal position licking your palms if you ever had to endure that :-)Replay wrote:my heart is cold as stone. you are a disgrace to the maple leaf if you can't handle a little chill in the winter!Zeus wrote:Come up here for Dec and Jan some year. Amazing what a simple Google search can come up with (it's -49F BTW)Replay wrote:wait, CELSIUS?Zeus wrote:Ask Bovine about his -45C weather. somebody convert that for me. or don't.
i mean, doesn't the "50 in 50" rule about having a 50% survival rate in 50F water after one minute start to apply to AIR at that point? O_o
That's a bit easier. Didn't realize it had a built in calculator. Can be useful, thanksKupek wrote:Google is better than that: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=-45C+in+F
It's a decent calculator that does unit conversions (including money). If I need to do a quick calculation, it's often easier to open up a new tab (and Google is my homepage) than it is to open up the actual calculator app I use.

write Sine, you can get it in the bylaws.Blotus wrote:Isn't complaining about cold weather in California a bannable offense? Should be.
I use it as a spell check all the time. I also use it for conversions a lot.Replay wrote:i'm not sure if i should feel intense joy or miserable shame at having contributed greatly to that yellow pie slice

We've been having subfreezing days in DC for quite a while now. 15F tonight, which is about -10C.Oracle wrote:It's 0C today and I'm LOVING IT. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I'm just happy that it isn't -45C anymore.... for now.... apparantly February is supposed to be evil cold.Flip wrote:We've been having subfreezing days in DC for quite a while now. 15F tonight, which is about -10C.Oracle wrote:It's 0C today and I'm LOVING IT. WHY DO PEOPLE HATE MY STATE? I really don't get it. We've done nothing to you, dude.SineSwiper wrote:Californians, you fucking lizards call that cold?!
There's a rep of Cali's being pretentious whiners, that's why. Probably a bunch of jealous woven in there too since you don't have to deal with the harshness of winter like the rest of us......pansies :-)Replay wrote:WHY DO PEOPLE HATE MY STATE? Ugh! I hate heat more than I hate the cold. You can always add on layers...Fea wrote:Freezing? Thinking of Australia might help:

Do you live in extreme cold? Does it get to be -45 celcius down there with wind chill?Seraphina wrote:Ugh! I hate heat more than I hate the cold. You can always add on layers...Fea wrote:Freezing? Thinking of Australia might help:

Fuck that, I'd rather freeze to death and fall asleep then melt to death and suffer through a heat stroke.Zeus wrote:Do you live in extreme cold? Sure, if you're in your house you can bundle up but when it's cold and you have the wind blowing? It's much worse than trying to find shade when it's 40 celcius out there
No u.Kupek wrote:Know what's really lame? Getting into a pissing match over who experiences worse weather.
Different strokes I guess. The cold has never bothered me, but extreme heat is horrible.Zeus wrote: Do you live in extreme cold? Does it get to be -45 celcius down there with wind chill?

Its more a debate on which extreme you prefer, at this point... which i dont think is all that lame.Kupek wrote:Know what's really lame? Getting into a pissing match over who experiences worse weather.
