I'm pregnant again! Almost 11 weeks so still a little early, but early ultrasounds are looking good. The problems I had before we know about now and they can be managed so hopefully things will work out this time.

Congo rats ululate for the happy occasion of your conception!
I am so glad other people are taking up the "having kids" slack for me as a human being in this generation, because I'm just not sure I'm interested.
Thanks for making sure our species will propagate into the future!

Congratulations! How've the first 3 months been? Have you had much morning sickness?

I have good days and bad days still. Not really any puking but I'm definitely nauseous, and during the day food is not appealing at all right now. My pants already don't fit which is annoying heh
My next appointment is tomorrow, so I'm hoping everything still looks good.

The clothes thing is just gonna get worse. I had to get my wife a whole new maternity wardrobe :-)
I pray everything goes well for ya tomorrow. You're almost past the hump (the first trimester you pervs..... :-).

Seems to be more hormones in this one. She's getting more nauseous and PMS-like pissy moods. (Though, she doesn't PMS much normally, so I can't complain.)
Hopefully that's a good sign.

People used to tell me that bad morning sickness was a good sign. Noah turned out pretty healthy so it could be. Of course, they also told me it was an indication of having a boy which also turned out to be true but considering they had a 50/50 chance, that one could've just been luck.

did you ever think that maybe you conceived twins and then one baby just you know..... ate the other?

Likely. Sounds like the body may have been getting ready the first time. My wife had two suspected miscarriages (very late, heavy periods that weren't normal) and when she got the twins, there was a definite change in her hormone levels from those two times relatively early on.
That's why when she was a nurse you try to tell people that a miscarriage is a normal part of the pregnancy process. Something like 65% of women have one their first time getting pregnant. It's really the body preparing itself. Problem is, women tend to really stress about it (understandably) and it hurts them from getting pregnant again. I know it did for my wife.

Well I actually did have a miscarriage a few months ago. It was just the luck of the draw though. The first pregnancy they found out I have a gene mutation that prevents me from absorbing folic acid and raises my homo cysteine levels. This can cause blood clots later in pregnancy which is probably what happened because the placenta stopped working all of a sudden. I'm taking massive doses of folic acid and a baby aspirin to manage the problem and apparently that's all you need with my type of mutation. It's actually a very common gene mutation, 60% of the population has it.
My Dr appointment went great, long as hell, but baby is kicking and jumping around just fine and measuring up perfectly.

I'm so glad they worked out what the issue was so that you can take precautions this time.
Are you guys thinking of finding out the sex at one of the scans or do you want it to be a surprise?

For the first one? Let that one be a surprise. Not only is it pretty neat when the baby comes out but you'll also have tons of neutral newborn clothing for the next one :-)
Again, great news. Can't wait for September now I bet :-)

Closer to October, but yeah, it could be an early birth at Sept.

Maybe Seraphina is actually bearing the second coming of the Messiah in an immaculate conception. Sine, you've been cuckolded by God.
