It was quite a shock to see his character go... although it looks like it's set the stage for quite an interesting storyline with House out of sorts since he didn't see it coming either.

Yeah, my sister said that I had to watch it that night, so I did, and I was like WTF? He was the best character on there (next to House), so I didn't understand why they killed him off.

Then I read this news, and it makes sense. Of course, I don't understand why they spoil the episode in that news article. Really, though, most of the episode was about how the characters reacted to the whole thing, as they find him dead within 15 minutes of the episode.

Either Pacific Islanders aren't even mentioned or they're listed with Asia (i.e. on multiple college applications, if they even had Pacific Islanders listed it was as "Asian/Pacific Islander.") There isn't too big of a deal about it, though, we did originate from there albeit centuries upon centuries ago. I have trouble not equating it to all of us being African, though heh.

...given that they announced Kal's new job with the Obama White House on CNN something like a day before the show aired (along with the news of the character's death), I don't see what you're complaining about. I think Sassafras is the only one who has a real right to be pissed, here.
