That's the freeze frame of a zebra getting attacked.

I know that, you know that, we all know that. The photo of a lion on stilts going after the elephant with the "WTF H4X" text is Photoshopped, too. Does that make it less entertaining? Must you ruin the moment?

I'm just saying that it didn't deserve its own thread. If I want funny pictures, I can browse Fark or Photoshop Phriday.

Besides, some people do honestly believe in the freeze frames. No, George Bush doesn't actually act like a monkey. (He just has the intelligence of one.)

So, yes, you honestly think some of us are stupid enough to think that's a lion hugging a zebra.

A busy day for us is five new threads. I think we can handle the occasional funny picture.

I will make sure my next thread is very, very dry and boring and unlikely to excite such rabid controversy. My sincere mistake and apologies.

By the way, Sine, I have seen that one, and it is hilarious. :)

I think that's even worse than this.

I think I'm going to have to start reading Failblog. I like this one, for instance:

Holy jizz. Superdickery looks like it's being raped by ads. It used to be a pretty clean page.

The 60's were a crazy decade.

No, I'm serious. What comic writer decided it was okay to imply that Batman and Robin were gay lovers, and why did the rest of the writing team go along with it?

Ads? What ads? Oh, yeah, you're using a shitty browser like IE, right?

Sigh... you're correct. Firefox does not run so well for me right now, despite some uninstalls.

You might want to consider trying Opera.

Only if it has AdBlock.

But seriously, answer my question: the leather thong thing. Why does this exist? What was the writer thinking?

A thong is also a piece of leather. Now, why there would be teeth marks in a piece of leather, I don't know, but back then, I don't think the concept of the thong as you know it now existed.

It doesn't block all ads, Sine, and get over that. You don't need to block every ad to have a perfect browsing experience. It DOES block popups, and has pretty incredible security features. I haven't worried about viruses once since I've started using it.

I highly recommend Opera, Blot. I've been using it for years and it's a wonderful experience. Makes me happier with browsing by a factor of 10.

As far as "what was the writer thinking", you have to realize, back when these comics were written, gay innuendo wasn't even a part of the public consciousness. If you were gay, you could look forward to being exiled to San Francisco and/or completely ostracized. I'm sure it was the usual convoluted plot, maybe involving some kind of costume drama, where Batman had his hands behind his back and had to hang on for dear life from a costume exhibit by his teeth, or some other whole bit.
