The youngest brother to a powerful family who never could really live up to the name. He did, inexplicably, have a lot of pull in Congress, but that is probably attributed to the, again, the family name.

To me, he is basically the ultimate rich and powerful family douchebag. In '69 he killed a 28 y/o girl in a car crash while driving from a party (probably drunk, but no real investigation was ever done), didnt call the police, and got a 2 months suspended sentence... so nothing. I hate the system who protects people who can hide behind money and mom & dad. It reminds me of all the trust fund d-bags where i live in Georgetown who do whatever the fuck they want. The incident ultimately ruined any chance Ed had to run for president, thank god.

RIP. The Kennedy's are all but gone.

I've seen better eulogies for Ted than this, this morning.

Agreed. The guy was a career politician that would trip on his own contradictions.
