Now that I've finished spraying you with sarcasm, what I do agree with is that the administration shouldn't bother fighting these guys. You're just playing into their hands and there's nothing to gain.

There's a quote on my Murphy's Law poster that I think they should take to heart: "Never argue with an idiot, people might not knw the difference"

You say that, but a large audience believes that Fox is actually news and actually "fair and balanced". Rachel Maddow tackled this issue, and took it apart like only she could.

Hey, no one never said those 'nuts ain't dumb. And cognitive dissonance is a very, very powerful - and prominent - thing.

Fox News is evil and at this point if they don't stop promoting nutty "birther" nonsense I'm really gonna get on a truther bandwagon again. :P

If we went to war under a false flag op in the Gulf of Tonkin, we might have done it this time too, and if so I bet Fox News knows plenty about it. It takes some real skill to get Don Imus to call your HQ a building full of nuts. :P I laughed my ass off at that one.

Who cares, the only people who take tabloids seriously anyway are not intelligent enough to matter in a society where they no longer dominate the vote.

Fox News is the most popular news station in America. We're not talking about a third-rate station here. Their influence is pretty huge

Yup. And I think Ailes is hiding closets full of skeletons so rotten the pungent stench may be causing his lungfish-like pallor.

Which is something my father-in-law likes to promote quite a bit.

Again, he's retired, and his favorite pasttime is trolling the extreme liberal blogs.

At least the conservative-leaning people stick together. There's a lot more liberal-leaning people but they hate each other more than they hate the right (kinda like the conservatives are Jews and liberals are Arabs).
