First I've heard of it but what about you Americans? Does Obama appear to be more science-loving than past presidents? Does he come off as too calculating or deliberate?

Yes and no, respectively. I have been very thankful for this so far. Newsweek did something like this as well.

Yes, and yes... but after Dubya, it's a little refreshing. Sometimes it can be frustrating--especially when things seems to need quicker action (health care anyone?) but there's generally little that he can actually do except for poke and prod congress.

Health care will define his entire first term as president and will go a long way to determining whether he gets re-elected. And it can't be no bandaid solution, either. He promised real change and how he has to deliver.

But that also takes time and all the politicians on both sides who have benefited greatly from the current system are going to fight him tooth and nail. Let's see if he can fight through it.
