He's just gonna get a plea bargain, fine, and maybe the rest of the season off (they ain't goin' nowhere anyways). It's gonna be a relatively hard slap on the wrist but at the end of the day, it's not like they were loaded

Yeah, I just read that after I made that post. I was going by an earlier article (from Hotmail and the AP) where it seemed like he was just gonna get a fine and some community service on top of the suspension which is surely gonna be for the rest of the season now.

That still keeps him in line to come back next season. I don't think the Wizards will void the contract since he's still quite popular and a very good player and this is a stupid, non-violent mistake. But then again, they could use it as an excuse to get out from the contract. We'll see.

Being badass is not worth being a dumbass. This is a principle I try to live by these days.

Eric: my condolences. For whatever reason you seem to be taking this harder than the rest of us. I just am kind of SMH, I don't watch the Wizards, but dunno why these guys who have everything have to fuck up like this too. But I'm sure there's a reason somewhere.
