Thrashers have made by far the biggest move in getting Chelios :-)
Kovalchuk was already traded so it's gonna put a bit of a damper on the deadline I think.

The flyers might need a goaltender with Emery lost for the season. The Blues are rumored to be shopping Boyes and Cola. Nashville might move Ellis. The Islanders might not move Roloson. The Canucks may move a goalie prospect and Pavol Demitra. Ray and Ryan Whitney are both on the block and Woljek Wolski is rumored to be moving as well. Alexi Ponikavorski definitely will be moved (not in the lineup tonight) as will Lee Stempniak.

Yeah, bunch of decent players but no real huge impact players (aside from MAYBE Roloson). There should be some movement but no big splash

Anyone who thought that was a remote possibility should be taken off the air forever. To get only 1 first rounder when you gave up two and a second rounder would be retarded. Besides, Kessel's doin' fine, it's the rest of the team that's not
