Let's say you totally suck at playing defense, and DH isn't an option, what would be the best slot to play? I assume it's either the left or the right outfielder, but is one of them better than the other?

Probably right outfielder. Since most people are right handed, the long balls they hit will tend go to left field.

Yeah thats where people always try to hide the weak fielders in softball leagues.

That's where I played when I was 10 and sucked at baseball. :)

Me too. I never had the coordination for baseball really. Hitting the ball and catching the ball was hard for me. Football (the American kind) was more my sport. Line up, pile up. It just sucks that as you get older you can't play anymore. No organized teams for older people (Unless, of course, you are a professional). Soccer and baseball on the other hand have their adult versions.

Pitcher. Those who can't hit or field pitch.

If youre pretty bad at fielding, i would be willing to bet you throw like a girl, too.

I was terrible at baseball. The only time I got on base was if I got walked or the time I got hit in the head.

If you want as little action as possible, play right field. Next best would be 2nd base, then catcher

Saying I throw like a girl is an insult to girls...

I loved playing baseball as a kid. I can't hit very hard but I can catch anything!
