Well, I do think the whole idea of "treason" for telling the truth and making the western forces look bad (because let's face it, that's the main reason why they oppose it - not intelligence details). That's nationalist bullshit; and nationalism needs to die in order for the world to progress to a more peaceful state. We need to know the brutal details in order to better understand war; and why it should be avoided at all costs. Especially for things as petty as a few rich men's pockets.

After 221 years of social "progress"; we still haven't yet gotten rid of the upper class. Or implemented a good way to run things without them. It starts when people stop living vicariously through them (it is not your glory, but the rich man's glory) and the military powers that serve them.

So far, it looks like a good way to let people know that you can't get away with immoral behavior without a whistleblower standing in your way.

Though, I would have liked to see some exposure of US's secret drone war with Pakistan. Everybody knows it's happening, but nobody in the government will publically talk about it. It's essentially a public secret, but without acknowledgment, there is no accountability or explanation.

Stealing the information I could see as being treason but releasing it... ehhhhh.
