Why do I have to choose between evil selfish pricks and spineless fucking cowards? All of this bullshit can get solved with term limits for Congress, but it would take a vote in Congress to do it.

And then Biden says something tame (and accurate), and everybody feigns shock. God dammit people are so cowardly and selfish.

What did you expect? Elected officials to do what's right for their constituents? You forgetting who's footing their election bill, here?

This just points to the need for a multi-party system.

You mean like what we have in Canada, a minority? All you ever hear about is these wastes of skin and bones wanting to force a new vote through a vote of no confidence instead of forcing 2 parties to work together to get things done (and ultimately represent more of the population). The only reason it's been a few years now is 'cause our Liberals (Democrats) didn't think they would win 'cause the polls showed that people did NOT want another vote. Then the financial crisis hit. But now that we're recovering well, that talk is swelling up again. The only way a multi-party system vote works is if you make sure the parties are forced to work together for at least one term down there, that they can't take the government down. Or at least there be some sort of time limit between these no confidence votes.
