Let's say you're trying to rig a game of baseball

Via officiating. Let's say I swing and miss. Is there a way that can possibly be not a strike? If someone hits a home run is there any possibly way I can say that was not a home run? Can I just throw out a player for no reason? Now I'm sure if the umpire has no regards to make it subtle he can probably do it, but here I'm assuming you're at least attempting to make it look like legit.
I noticed there is virtually no baseball stuff I'm aware of that is based on the concept the game is rigged (from officials) even though such themes are common in other sports (heck people say other sports are rigged by refs in real life all the time!).

Thats one thing i have always liked about baseball. Once a guy blasts a homerun or gets a great hit its in the books, no holding your breath to see if there is a stupid yellow flag!

I think in soccer the refs don't even have to give a reason, so they can waive off a goal because they didn't like your face!

Other than some borderline calls in the field (like Joyce blowing Galaragga's perfect game) or the ump's version of the strike zone, the human element in the game is more minimized in baseball 'cause there's no such thing as penalties as there is in the other games. And with the instant replays, they tend to get the ones in the field right 99.99% of the time now

Obviously you can try to rig the borderline cases but it's not like you can count on refs to bail out someone who is obviously not throwing strikes. It certainly is very different from basketball where it seems like it's possible to call on a foul on every possession, and football feels similar too (seems like you can always call a holding penalty on somebody somewhere). And of course soccer you don't even have to be subtle because the refs don't need to give a reason.
