I want one. My Girlfriend wants one.

For $200 I will actually consider buying tablet, especially since it is through Amazon (my favorite eCommerce site).

Im tempted too. I wish it was just Android though and not the Amazon heavily modified version. The Android Marketplace will not be the same, apps will have to pass through an Amazon screening process. But, i'm sure the legit and good apps will make it, and along with good browsing what else do you need? I dont need a camera or any of that crap. I assume e-mail works fine?...

Between my laptop and iPhone, I don't feel I need anything else. I have neglected consoles and handhelds with games I've barely played, and as far as reading goes (that's the kindle's primary purpose, right?), I only read A Song of Ice and Fire.

I'd be very interested in this if I didn't have a Nook and hadn't just gotten a $100 HP TouchPad.

I reluctantly agree with lotus, which is why i havtn bought a tablet yet. Between the computer and my Android phone, i technically dont need anything else. Tablets are giant smartphones that would be fun to play around with at times, but not crucial to own. Maybe unless you have kids or multiple people in the household.

This is true for many people, but I can see a scenario of my girlfriend and I sitting in bed with out tablets. She's playing Angry Birds and I'm reading A Song of Ice and Fire.

Sure I have an android phone but I actually get annoyed with my 4 inch screen after awhile.
