Saw a report that Magic Johnson predicted the Lakers won't win the NBA finals next year. Even when you're a runaway favorite like the Miami Heat, statistically the field is far more likely to win than any one team, and the Lakers aren't exactly the favorite here. Heck, I'd feel reasonably comfortable predicting that the Packers won't win the Super Bowl even though they seem to be some sort of invinicible juggernaut at the moment. After all, only one team can win it all, so if you predict a team to fail as in not winning it all, it's a very safe bet most of the time.

Ill give you the field if I get the Packers to win the Super Bowl 2:1. $50 for you or $100 for me.

I assume when people make these prediction it's on a 1 to 1 basis. I'll feel okay about Packers versus field 1 to 1 (for picking Packers to lose). 1 to 2 I'm not so sure, since they do look pretty much unstoppable.
