The Shrine

When many of us began posting here, the hot titles were Chrono Trigger, Wild Arms, and the upcoming Final Fantasy 7. We didn't even have Starcraft or Resident Evil 2 yet!

1997, now 2012. I can't decide whether time flew by, or if it it feels like a great long time ago.

I remember I could only ever really post during my high school computer lab classes until college when I *gasp* got my own desktop and a dedicated T1. Ah, the memories. A few of the girls I've had long term relationships with would inevitably learn about my 'nerd forum' and they always thought it was weird but pretty cool.

I don't see how you enforce that, not everyone goes online with their consoles.

From 1999 to now, it doesn't feel right without browsing here at least once a day.

I was equally confused and assumed the same thing, but I let it go, out of respect, for 15 years of terrible posts.

Fifteen years, it's hard to believe. All I can say is that it's been a hell of a ride and I'm looking forward to the next fifteen.

what makes you think you wont have to be online at all times to play any game on the next gen Microsharft or Sony consoles? They were experimenting with that this gen, gonna be in full force next gen. Nintendo wont but the others will

Yeesh. 15 years. That's craziness. I was 16 and now I'm 30 (!) with kids (yes, I have kids...just happened...I'll post a thread on it when I get a chance :p) when I started posting here and I only found the place because I was searching for stuff about FF7. I still remember making a signature with a picture of Tifa and Sine giving me crap for it. hahaha

I think we should ban Eric for his bad posting, but that's just me.

Celebratory Eric banning: every April, Eric gets banned for the month.

Thanks! They had to come early because my wife was hit with severe preeclampsia. They waited as long as they could without putting her at risk and then delivered.

Ganath and his wife just had their first kid too. I posted a link to the Shrine on his facebook page. Not sure we'll ever see him again on here, but figured it was worth a shot.

Yikes! I had pre-e too, but it never got severe, Seb was delivered at 37 weeks and ended up on a vent, it didnt look like from the pics your girls are on vents, thats great!
