I love it!

Miami is making so many people eat crow right now, the hypocrites and no-reason-haters alike. Personally, I don't really care who wins. But so many people hated them for no reason that I hope they win the next 4 championships just to shove it in everyone else's face. And this is a Raptors fan talking, someone who shoulda been "outraged" over what Bosh did.

Let's see: Miller pretty much gave his last-gasp performance in Game 5 (and what a helluva performance that was!), he's likely gonna retire. Boy could hardly walk yesterday otherwise he woulda beat Allen's 3-point record. With his cap hit ($5.8M), they could probably get Nash or close to it. Get rid of some of the lesser pieces making way too much (Anthony, Howard, and the cap hits of House and Iglaskus) and if, miraculously, they can get rid of Haslem, they might be able to squeeze Dwight under the cap too for just next year. Long shot for sure, but who knows? Even with just Nash and his ridiculous ability to run the floor and 40% 3-pt shooting percentage, if you add in a bunch of guys on top of Chalmers and Cole who would play for minimum just to be around that, they'd be completely unstoppable. Oh man, that would rule!

Err, hating Miami is like hating the bad guy in WWE. It's like illegal to cheer for the guys that have "BAD GUY" labeled on their head even if you think/know they're actually decent beings. Supporting LeBron is like rooting for Goliath when he's fighting David and the only exception is if you live in Miami.

Honestly the only guy I hate on the Heat is Battier. He's like a Derek Fisher, i.e. overrated role player except he doesn't have the rings (prior to this year) either. I guess it's balanced out by the fact that Derek Fisher is on the Thunder (he screwed up the Lakers for like 5 years because he can't defend anyone), and James Harden is way too ugly to be allowed to win a championship.

I also don't like LeBron and Wade because their whole plan of attack is getting fouled, and sure that's a good strategy but it's hard to tell if it works because it's a good strategy or that they just get the superstar bailout calls. Yes I know they're faster/stronger/whatever which makes it hard to guard, but like one random Internet poster I saw, you'd think LeBron should occasionally foul out just because his go to move involves running over his defender, and yet he only fouled out like once in the last 2 years. I don't mean all his moves to the basket are charges, but given how often he does the bullrush charge move you'd think sometime he'd just get unlucky to get called for a foul in a 50/50 situation where you don't know if it's a blocking or a charge, but he never fouls out or even gets into foul trouble. This is more of a playstle issue though. Paul Pierce and Kobe Bryant used to be the master of the 'pump fake and then jump into the defender for 3 free throws' trick, and I hated that even though I'm a Lakers fan. The rules changed to stop allowing continuation which stopped a lot of that, and I think there should be some rule changes that stops favoring just running into the paint and bowl someone over... though to be fair that really only applies to LeBron. Everyone else tends to get call a charge here and there and get into at least foul trouble.
