Seriously. Somehow, the Internets has imploded with this crap. I mean, this is bigger than Twilight or at least, it's trending that way. Not a day goes by that I don't see some sort of MLP image or some dude with a MLP avatar. I don't get this at all....

Sine, you wouldn't believe how HUGE My Little Pony was at Comic Con. It was everywhere, it was freakin' ridiculous. Haven't checked in a little bit, but the $22 exclusive that sold out there was selling for over $70 on Ebay in the couple weeks after.

Girlfriend managed to collect all the My Little Pony motivational posters. I'm suppose to put them up on ebay as a set and I keep putting it off. It will actually return a sizeable profit.

I also had to buy her that exclusive Pony because it sold out before she could grab one.

But, why? Is the show that good? Like SBSP or Invader Zim level of humor? I was catching glimpses of this pop up on Fark, and then I read the KYM entry on it, as well as the constant attempts of Ponyification over there. Then I got a sense of just how huge it became.

I appreciate the positivity that MLP produces but I sincerely have no wish to actually get involved with that community or even lurk on the outskirts as a fan. The show has a very good reputation for not being just another mindless zone-out-a-thon that most children's television producers create. If I actually had a child I'd probably be more into checking it out.

A few pony fans at work; of course, they're all down in the QA department.

Despite my own interest in video games, there are certain things I don't believe a grown man should spend time indulging in. Clever and as beloved it may be, My Little Pony is one of those things.

Dammit, Anarky, why didn't you tell me? I coulda gotten you one when I got my Super Helicarrier and Star Wars set. There was a girl I was in line with to get my Portal gun signed who asked me to get her some and it was no prob. I woulda done it no prob for your woman, coulda even walked over and given it to her on the spot. It was only $22, man.....

Yea, I paid the ebay price to make her happy I had a few friends there who tried but they had sold by the time I had asked.
