Do you believe me now that Robocop is more of a foreshadowing of future Detroit than a horrible fictional apocolypse?

Come gather 'round children, it's high time you learns',
About a hero named Homer and a devil named Burns.
We'll march 'til we drop, the girls and the fellas,
We'll fight 'til the death, or else fold like umbrellas.
So we'll march day and night by the big cooling tower,
They have the plant, but we have the power.

This has nothing to do with Robocop, and everything to do with leaving a goddamn dictator in charge of the city.

Just like Colbert said, Robocop was actually an optimistic view of the future of Detroit
And seriously, this is the plot of Robocop coming to life. It's nuts
