D'Antoni resigns as Laker's coach

I get that people always blame stuff on the coach because it's easier to replace the coach than the team, but I really don't know what people are expecting him to do. Lakers started with Mike Brown who is big on defense and they sucked and Mike Brown got sacked, and then they switched to D'Antoni who is big on offense but still sucked. The problem is probably on the team, not the coachs. Dwight Howard is turning out to be rather ordinary after going to Houston. Pau Gasol for some reason declined really quickly (maybe too many games played since he's also on the international team). Kobe was hurt and Steve Nash is too old. I guess people must have thought if they have Chris Kaman post up on every play he'd put up Shaq like numbers because he averages something crazy when you take his 10 minutes per game number and extrapolate it to 36 minutes. There was a game this season when the Lakers ran out of players after someone fouled out (think it was Kaman) and I always thought that only happened in manga. I don't know if D'Antoni would have been a good fit for the Lakers, but there was a stretch where they had only 8 guys suited up or maybe even less per night.
