A helpful chart

It's come to my attention that people are having trouble distinguishing me from actual fascists!

Here's a helpful chart.

Image

FOOTNOTES:
*Question mark 1: While the IDF has never officially endorsed a "Final Solution" to the "Arab problem", scattered politicians, generals, and others continue to mention the possibility.
*Question mark 2: Replay has unquestionably used homophobic slurs on this board before; but only in a failed intent to make those already using homophobic slurs feel what it's like to be routinely slandered/abused/bullied over orientation.

Does this help clarify why some of you don't like me?

I'm really not going to put up with people comparing me to history's greatest killers, people. It's not fair and not right, no matter how much some of you may despise me.

I'll let it go if you will. I'd much rather talk about games any day of the week.

Really - why do some of you hate me so much? I don't hate you.

I'll change my mind.

Bite away.

I came back with an olive branch; if you want to break it in half, that's on you, Flipper.

Post something not related to: Nazis, fascism, Israel, how people 'hate' you, etc. and you may find the conversation to go smoother.

Derailing threads with the above topics would also be something to avoid.

I have been. Nobody responds to those posts. You all will jump in on this one, though.

I've been keeping out of stuff...but christ, your ego is out of control. No one gives a shit about you...at least in the way you think. On your best day, you are an amusing distraction.

Nobody hates you, nobody cares about the issues you keep bringing up or wishes to engage in any sort of discussion about them with you though.

I think you wish nobody gave a shit about me.

I have about a hundred times the readership of this forum on my personal blog - about 2600 connections.

But if I say it, you'll say I'm "arrogant" again - instead of noting that I'm just defending my reputation against you.

This has nothing to do with "ego"; it's about defending my public reputation from slander.

I have never killed anybody, practiced racism, fomented for a war, or impeded on people's civil rights.

The Nazis did. Israel has as well, in this era.

I'm tired of being called "anti-Semitic" or "a Nazi" when I am Jewish.

The second part of this is quite true. Nobody cares.

That's really the issue, isn't it?

Nobody cares.

Beware what you make when you make a society like that, Eric. I like most of you here - certainly enough to extend the basic human courtesies; I wish people were willing to extend the same in return; at least enough to stop calling me a "Nazi", an "anti-Semite", or a "terrorist".

And by the way - I link that not because I think I am any kind of superhero.

I link it only because it is the best parallel on the morals of the situation I know.

Israel is willing to kill where I and many other anti-Zionist Jews are not; many see it as a heroic nation for this reason. I think they are quite wrong.

I am an American Jew. I uphold the law of Moses as best I can. I do no murder.

I wish people here would - at minimum - acknowledge that.

Really though? I'll shut up about it.

Because you're quite right. Clearly, nobody here cares.

In early 2000's...

Most talked about movies were:
- Lord of the Rings
- Star Wars
- X-Men

Zombie flicks were becoming popular.

And you posted this:
Flip in 2001 wrote:sparked by a recent post of someone here (i forget whom) about how all the "God Bless America" signs, posters, and bumper stickers is getting close to the edge of seperation of church and state, i made the comment to my girlfriend that "isnt all this god bless america stuff being unfair to the rest of the Americans that arent christian?". i told her that the government seems to be indorsing this whole heartedly when they really shouldnt. Being a chrsitian, she was offended and told me that i have to remember that America was founded on religion and whether people like it or not and it is apart of our american history. knowing my stories on the pilgrims and the mayflower i told her that america was in fact a safe heaven for protestants to escape religious persecution and therefore america, if ANYplace, should be the most politically correct country on religoin. She backfired with while it is true that America TOLERATES and LETS other people practice whatever religion they want to, that doesnt change the fact that 99% of our founding fathers were christian and therefore instilled christian beliefs into our governemtn, laws, and society. she points out that even on our currency it states "IN GOD WE TRUST". she takes this as a capital "G" in god which would clearly mean christianity. while i said it probably represents a lower case "g" meaning all religions.

what the hell, being days later she has got me thinking too much and now i am starting to see that America probably WAS founded with chrstian guidlines. its obvious that america has come a long way in racial descimination (but of course we know it isnt perfect), but what about religous descrimination? do we just LET other religions do their own thing while the government and society keep running the country as chrstians. its been bothering me and i just wanted to know what you thought.

--Flip

ps. the whole "god bless america" thing has just been getting on my nerves lately which is why i bring it up to begin with. in light of the recent events i think it just proves how much of a christian country we really are inspite of america's claim that we are not.
Unless its a long enough timeline, nothing *really* changes except the scenery. Maybe a few of us get busier with hobbies or diapers ;)
