Opposing The Trans-Pacific Partnership

Long story short: Nike is basically a flagship company for TPP, though there are others. It is a supposed economic model for "growth" in Asian-US work relations, at least according to the line being given to try to pass it, from what I can tell.

Back in reality, Nike laid off about 5,000 Americans last year so it could hire more foreign workers. Americans make ONE percent of Nike's goods. It abuses Asian kids in sweatshops. If it is the model for this framework, the framework sucks. AND the TPP has hidden Internet restriction provisions that make SOPA and PIPA look like a minor menace.

It is a bad deal, and we should all oppose it.
